I sent my passport to Philadelphia for expedited renewal. Thinking it would get there faster, I sent it from the Atlanta area by USPS Priority Mail on 3/26. Weird thing is the USPS tracking number just stopped working but the Japanese postal service tracking number still works & always worked & it still says it's in Jersey. I hope things do work out for you but if you want my take, it's lost. Filing a case with the post office won't help. Thankfully my package arrived in my state two days later. However, now it seems to just be stuck at the network distribution facility in Springfield even though I'm near Boston over an hour away. I'm so confused because the package supposedly departed the same facility 5 times now, four times yesterday morning and another time this morning. I finally received a notification that my package arrived USPS Facility (= left CA International Distribution Center) on 8/12/2021, and it arrived in front of my door the next day.
