The outback is longer, wider, and has a longer wheelbase, but the forester has more headroom and leg room. It looked as if the rear cargo capabilities were also the same.The Subaru Outback is nearly two inches wider and eight inches longer, while the Forester is two inches taller. They both have great views to the outside, and Forester does best with larger greenhouse windows.
