Let's say you make 100 cookies an hour. After 5 hours, you'd bake 500 cookies. With the switch on, you make 150 cookies an hour so after 5 hours you've baked 750 cookies. But you have to spend 100 cookies to turn the switch on and 150 to turn it off. 750-100-150=500. (assuming no wrinklers.).
